As co-founder of Behavioral Health Innovators, Stephanie is currently leading the development and expansion of the RecoveryBuild Alternative Peer Group project; additionally Stephanie serves as a member of the Advisory Group for the National Conference of Behavioral Health, working with the CDC to address youth substance use prevention for people ages 12 – 18 years. 

  • Prior to founding Behavioral Health Innovators, Inc. Stephanie was a practicing attorney and mediator concentrating in medical, elder and disability law
  • Stephanie has extensive experience in advocating for government services and benefits for individuals with cognitive, behavioral and mental health challenges
  • Currently licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Leading effort on Cape Cod to create an innovative Recovery High School Program
  • Past Member of the MA Certified Community Behavioral Health Center Steering Committee, Data and Reporting Work Group. The overall goal of the steering committee was to prepare for a demonstration application to Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) for a pilot program integrating substance abuse and mental health model of care
  • Member, Advisory Board, Cape Cod Village, a 501c3 organization building a residential community in Orleans, MA for young people with Autism
  • Certified Yoga Teacher committed to bringing the healing power of yoga to individuals with substance use disorder and other behavioral health challenges
