PASS Program Receives Community Support

The Cape Cod PASS (Positive Alternative to School Suspension) program receives funding for pilot program and to expand this fall

The Cape Cod PASS program is a safe & supportive environment for high school students facing suspension. The moment of suspension is also a moment for intervention and an opportunity to change the outcomes for these students.

PASS opened in Barnstable with referrals from Barnstable High School in May 2022. Dennis-Yarmouth and Falmouth high schools plan to participate in September 2022.

Behavioral Health Innovators has received support for the Cape Cod PASS Program from Peter & Elizabeth Tower Foundation; the Cape Cod Foundation Strategic Emergency Response Fund, Hawksnest Fund and the Lawrence-Lynch Corp Foundation for Charitable Giving fund; Lyndon Paul Lorusso Charitable Trust;  and the Cape & Islands District Attorney Office.
